Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information American Professional Technologies LLC ("APT", "we", "us") collects through this website, ap7.ai, and how we use it. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by our written agreement with each client.

The short version

This site has no forms, no accounts and no advertising.
We do not use cookies to track you.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to talk with you about working together.
We do not sell or share your personal information.

Information we collect

When you email us. If you write to [email protected] or use a "Book a call" link (which opens your own email program), we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

When you visit the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they view. It collects limited technical information, such as the page visited, the referring page, browser type, device type and approximate country. It does not use cookies or local storage, and it is not used to track you across other websites.

Hosting logs. This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use information

We use information to:

reply to your message and talk with you about our services;
understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it;
keep the site secure and working.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our email, such as Cloudflare (hosting and analytics) and Google (email), and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

AI tools and your information

We will not put confidential information you send us into an AI tool without your written permission. Please do not send confidential client information by email before we have talked.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business conversations, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form by Cloudflare under its own retention limits.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the "Last updated" date above.
